Here is the May 11, 2011 edition of a local Minneapolis newspaper featuring a CARS cover & story! In 1979, The Cars were the featured cover story in this long running publications inaugural edition. The magazine caught up with band 32 years later, who were in town for a show at First Avenue nightclub on their 2011 reformation tour. I forgot I even had this issue until stumbling across it in a box, and was glad I kept it! Now I get to share it with a fellow Cars fan after Ric Ocasek's unfortunate passing (they didn't have a ton of magazine covers they were featured on). This was only published/distributed in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN area, and this is likely the only one you'll ever find!
The magazine is in MINT CONDITION, and measures 10 x 11 1/2 inches!
