THE CARS 1978 PROMOTIONAL UNUSED CAR VENT TRASH BAG RIC OCASEK BENJAMIN ORR RARE

This is a promotional item designed to promote The Cars first LP from 1978
.  I'm sure a lot of people have never seen such a thing.  In the old days there were vents in the cars by your feet
.  These vents were opened by pulling a knob out that opened the vent to let air in.  People used to put trash bags over these knobs.  This is a promotional trash bag for The Cars designed to be placed over the vent knob.  It is in unused condition.  There is a small spot above the hole on the back only (see last photo).  There are also a couple of other spots (tape residue) in this same area.  All of this was from someone having put tape on it before I owned it, otherwise it is Like New.  It has been stored folded and is a very cool promo item.  I also have several Cars LPs, CDs and a promotional matchbook for promoting the Candy-O LP listed for sale at the time.
