I am the drummer in the Heavy Metal Band Cirith Ungol. We reunited after over 25 years,
and  headlining some pretty exclusive shows and festivals Worldwide. I
have a limited
quantity of drumsticks I used since I started playing again. You can have
your choice of 1 pair
broken, broke off nylon tips, or just beat up depending what is available! Will include some rare memorabilia with each order, and I will
personalize and sign them if requested and send an autographed photo!
There is a great backstory to this. Even though I use Promark oak drums sticks exclusivley
my wife bought me a dozen sets of Sticks drumsticks a few years ago. I was very angry at her
as I swore a blood oath "I would never touch a pair of drumsticks again", and told her to get
rid of them. Fast forward
when we had recieved some can't refuse offers to play. I decided that
i was being selfish by not playing since so many had become to admire the band after so many
years. I wasnt sure if I could even play again, and was going down to a good friends band room to
let me sit in on his set. I told my wife I was going to go try to play the drums, and she pulls out
these sticks....... She said "I knew that someday you would play again....." Very hard for me to tell
this story... so much emotion over so many years. So much wasted time, oh well, Climb Aboard the
Black Machine!
The good news is the band is playing again, and yes I remembered how to play, if only in my very
uncoventional caveman
style.
