    BLACK DRUSY QUARTZ CRYSTAL CABOCHON - 44 x 36 mm - GOLD HILL MINE, UTAH
    This is a lovely preform cabochon of drusy quartz on goethite from the Gold Hill Mine. The material we obtained yielded this preform of dark brown to black goethite covered with spheric crystal groups of sparkling drusy quartz. The back of the cabochon is smooth, not polished, and the edges are cut, not finished. It's a good pendant stone for wire wrapping due its incredible natural sparkle and rarity.
    For the collector, it is worth noting that the drusy quartz fluoresces green under a UV SW lamp.
